Clearing participant checklist

If your integration calls POST /api/v1/transactions, work through these steps in order. Each one links to the page with the details.

Checklist

  1. Complete Getting started
  2. Read Platform concepts
  3. Discover sandbox issuer IDs and asset codes
  4. Confirm wallet permissions for lock on your chain(s)
  5. Understand settlement modes (derived from issuer profiles)
  6. Wire polling to Transaction lifecycle (stop on terminal: true)
  7. Register webhooks and verify HMAC signatures
  8. Verify reserve proofs for issuers you transact with
  9. Review Integration checklist (participant track)

Easy things to get wrong

  • Failed, cancelled and parked transactions all come back as 200. They're normal responses, so please don't treat them as HTTP errors. See Errors.
  • You never set the settlement mode in your request. It comes from the issuer's configuration.
  • Branch your code on errors[].code. Message text can change, so avoid matching on it.
