System status

Check the sandbox engine, the on-chain probe and the settlement adapter before you start testing an integration.

GET /api/v1/system/status

This endpoint needs authentication and gives you a quick health check. It doesn't create a transaction or move any funds.

How settlement behaves in sandbox

The development sandbox uses a mock settlement adapter. A connected RTGS state means that adapter is ready. There's no live Bank of England Synchro connection behind it.
